About the event
Selling Your Show is a two-part event at The Producer's Club in NYC. The evening will kick off with an "Ask Me Anything" with Jim Arnoff, a Career Coach and a former In-house Attorney & TV Packaging Agent with William Morris Agency, followed by a Q&A panel with Writer/Director/Producer, Kris Lefcoe, and Indie Producer & Founder of Storre Pictures, Scott Veltri. From shopping agreements and the development process to series orders and beyond, we look forward to sharing the inside scoop!
Bios:
Jim Arnoff is a Certified Career/Business/Life Coach to the entertainment industry, small business owners, veterans in film and television,  women in finance and NYU alumni. Jim is certified by the International Coach Federation and founded the Gay Coaches Collective/NYC.   Jim Arnoff consults as a talent agent having represented television production companies in developing and selling original programming.  As a consultant, he shapes pitches, strengthens sizzle reels and works with producers to launch their own production companies.   He practices entertainment law in television, film and digital. Jim worked at the William Morris Agency as both an in-house lawyer and  television packaging agent. Jim graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, George Washington University School of Law and the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. He leads workshops for Veterans in Media and Entertainment, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences,  Alliance of Women Directors,  U.S. Military Academy, Writers Guild of America/East and West, Writers Guild Foundation/Veterans Writing Project,  New York Women in Film & Television,  NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Tisch West Alumni, Gotham Film & Media Institute, NYU Arts & Entertainment  Alumni Network, NYU LGBT Alumni Network, NYU Alumni Club of LA, The Entertainment Community Fund, Hollywood Radio & Television Society,  Women in Film, National Association of Latino Independent Producers, The Filmshop, Out Professionals, Fashion Group International and  the Financial Women’s Association, Jim is an adjunct faculty member of the School of Visual Arts ("Pitching Your Scripted Television Series  to the Industry Experts") featuring scripted showrunners and network development executives. He is a member of the New York State, New  York City and LGBT Bar Associations.
Kris Lefcoe a multi-award-winning director-writer whose work has screened at SXSW, TIFF, NBC, IFC, and the Sundance Channel, who recently sold a new show. Kris’ half-hour pilot Giving Up, Executive Produced by David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer) and developed with Imagine Television, won top prizes at Seriesfest and New York Television Festival. Her audience award-winning feature film Public Domain premiered at SXSW and was installed at Miami Basel. Kris made her network directing debut on the NBC comedy Superstore. Her animated short Tiny Riot Project was developed with Shadowmachine Films and sold to the Sundance Channel. Kris teaches on the faculty of the MFA Film and TV program at Stonybrook University, SUNY, and is currently developing her second feature film as well as a new series with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Mary Rohlich (Atypical).
Scott Veltri is an independent producer and the founder of Storre Pictures. Scott is currently producing a slate of both scripted and unscripted projects with partners like HBO, Netflix, Universal Intl. Television, Watch This Ready, UCP, Iron Ocean, and more. Previously Scott was a partner and the president of production at Assemble Media where he oversaw the film, TV and documentary slate. He is an Executive Producer of John Michael McDonagh’s THE FORGIVEN (TIFF 2021) starring Jessica Chastain, Ralph Fiennes, Matt Smith, Caleb Landry Jones, Abbey Lee and Christopher Abbott; Gia Coppola’s MAINSTREAM (Venice 2020) starring Andrew Garfield, Maya Hawke, Alexa Demie and Jason Schwartzman; and the upcoming MERCY SPARX with MGM. Scott is currently producing wish-fulfillment comedy MOST LIKLEY TO at Netflix and an UNTITLED MOVIEPASS DOCUMENTARY with Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson's Unrealistic Ideas. Prior to Assemble, Veltri was Head of Worldwide Sales at Magnolia Pictures where he handled the international launch on over 30 independent films including Sean Baker’s TANGERINE, Crystal Moselle’s THE WOLFPACK, Werner Herzog’s LO AND BEHOLD, Steve James’ LIFE ITSELF, Albert Maysles’ IRIS, Morgan Neville’s BEST OF ENEMIES and LUCKY starring Harry Dean Stanton and David Lynch. Scott is represented by WME.
