About the event

Christina Pumariega acts and writes. Often simultaneously. Her TV writing credits include “Turner & Hooch” (Disney+) and “Bluff City Law” (NBC). She is the author of Her Math Play (EST/Alfred P. Sloan grant), Lei Chiede (O’Neill NPC finalist) and Joan Dark, which will be workshopped at DCPA’s 2023 Colorado New Play Summit. Acting on and Off-Broadway and in television and film, Pumariega has cross examined Coach Taylor, made out with the Fly and set a Cuban pharmacy ablaze in a corset. She is the founder of Más Páginas: the Series, a collective that dares more pages from diverse womxn writers, and Más Páginas
